Penny (the Dental Assistant)

Director’s Note: When Aliya first arrived on the scene in Station House during the COVID lockdown (a weekly Zoom meeting place where writers can hear their pages read out loud by a team of talented actors), I kept seeing her cast in femme fatale roles. OH! Did she nail it! Every time! She was so frightening in these scenes, I was afraid to meet her in person – but when I finally did, I found her to be a girl-next-door sweetheart, NOT an icy killer! (well, maybe she *IS* an icy killer, but she presents as a girl-next-door sweetheart – which makes her even MORE dangerous!) This Jekyll/Hyde transformation which she can turn on and off midsentence made her the PERFECT Penny! Yes, we still had auditions, but she murdered the competition! (would you expect anything less?) She’s smart, too: Nobody has found the bodies.
